We’re Back! Better yet, I am back!

I’ve missed you bloggers!

I’ve been dying to write a blog post since we got back, but I simply have not had the time. It has been complete chaos since we got back from our honeymoon, or at least that’s what it has felt like.

If you’re my friend on Facebook, you probably already know that I lost my keys that day we got back. Not just one key. Oh no. I had to lose my whole set of keys. Let me give you a quick summary.

Car key. Keyless entry {that didn’t work}. Three house keys. Key to work. Key to old work {still help him out from time to time}. Key to parents’ house. Key to best friend’s house. Key to in-law’s house.

All keys. Gone. What may have happened to them, you ask? Well, unfortunately, I believe I {oh yes, me} threw them away on accident in the trash. I think they got caught on a Taco Bell bag I was throwing away just when we got back home.

No big deal, right? Just go dig through the trash. Actually, no.

I of course did not realize that I might have done this heinous act until after the garbage pickup the next morning. Colby took out the trash like a good husband, and it’s the one time I wish he would have forgotten.

No worries though. Being the sweet husband he is, he didn’t get mad. He knew I was already blaming myself enough. He just told me not to worry about it and went and had me new keys made to the house within an hour basically. What a great guy! That’s why I married him. Duh!

So, now I’m down to this pathetic set of keys.

I’m gaining keys back slowly, but surely. I guess it’s a good excuse to get me  a cute keychain. Yay for that! I think I might need a key finder on it, too! One like this might do.

Let’s hope nothing happens like this again!
