Our Honeymoon- Part IV

After touring Charleston for a day, Colby and I decided that we would venture outside of the city some. For the next two days, we visited places we each wanted to see.

Because of Colby’s interest in history, we decided we would take a boat tour of the harbor and visit Fort Sumter. As it was the entire trip, it rained and was very windy.

I clearly did not wear enough clothes to keep me warm when the rain comes in South Carolina. I’m used to Alabama weather where you can wear a skirt, dress, or shorts with no problem. No need for a jacket! Ha! Not in South Carolina! I’m pretty cold natured anyway though.

Fort Sumter turned out not to be as good as we thought it might be. I was cold because the wind was blowing so hard. See the proof below. Check out my hair.

Unless you’re a major history buff and just can’t wait to see it in person, save yourself the time and look at my pictures.

We also got a look at U.S.S. Yorktown {forgive me if this is not correct}.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s nice to say I’ve been there. I just would recommend to others to find something more appealing to do. Spend your money on something more worthwhile.
