I would just like to say “Happy Father’s Day!” to my wonderful father. He’s an amazingly strong man, and he’s proven it in more than one way this year. At one point this year, there was a moment when we feared we would lose him due to a heart attack, but he pulled through, and I thank God every day for giving me the opportunity to cherish that many more moments with him.
There’s another man though that I remember on this special holiday. This is my second Father’s Day without him, and he is dearly missed. I miss his laughter and sense of humor. I miss his understanding of whatever it was that you wanted to talk about him. I’m so grateful that I got to spend 20 years with him though.
