Job Hunt

This really isn’t an exciting post, but I can’t help but write about it.

The little bit of exciting news I have is that I had an interview today. It’s hopefully the first of many.

I’ve put in my application to two school districts for the elementary teacher positions. Yes, there are eleven job openings right now in our county. I’m praying that I at least get one of them.

The interview I went in for today would be the perfect job for me. I would never have to search for a job again if I were hired here. There would certainly never be any reason for leaving at all.

I am so passionate about teaching children that I can hardly wait to get into a classroom. The children pull on your heart, and it brings joy to you each day to see them learn something new or finally get a concept they have been struggling with.

The job search makes me very nervous though. I’m sure I’ll be a complete wreck for the next few weeks as I wait for phone call for interviews and wait to hear back from the interview today.

Please pray for me. Pray that God will relieve the anxiety that this is causing me. Pray that God will lead me in the right direction that will open doors for me to begin my career and give back to my community.

I trust that God will lead me in the right direction and will always take care of me no matter what the results are. I need his strength to come over me and give me a calmness that I cannot gain anywhere else but him.

I will share one wedding picture with you to give you a preview. I’m sorry it’s taking me so long. Things have just been crazy this week with unexpected events coming up.

Getaway Car

This is a picture that the owner of the Hourglass took while our reception was taking place. Want to guess why we have a fire truck in the front? Can you say getaway vehicle? I’ll reveal more later!
