Yes, I am still here. The blog might continue after all.
Let me just say that I have been caught in a whirlwind of constant work. Those of you who might think it is easy being an elementary teacher, think again. It’s not.
Of course, it didn’t help that I’ve basically had a week to get my things together for school that starts on Monday. Despite being so busy though, I have enjoyed every minute of it. I suppose you know you truly love your job when you put in countless hours, and you don’t think a thing of it.
I’m very excited today. It’s open house, so I get to meet all of my new little ones. I already know a few of them from Jumpstart, so that does help some.
I hope to be back tomorrow or sometime this weekend to give you a preview of my classroom.
