Because my sister so nicely reminded me that I haven’t blogged about her showers or wedding, I figured I better get on it. Who knew it was such an honor to be on my blog?!?! Anyhow…I know I need to do a re-cap, but so much has gone on in the past few months that I feel like I haven’t been able to get anything done at all. Between everyday life, work, graduate school, more showers than I can think of, and three weddings, I think I have earned the right to say that I’m just flat out tired and don’t care to do one darn thing.
Here it goes though…
Way back in September, I hosted a wedding shower for my sister. Of course, I wasn’t the only host. My aunts and cousins were also hostesses, and I am very thankful for their help. It could have never been done without them. I think everything went over nicely, and Ashley got lots of nice gifts to start her new life together with her {now} husband.
While I would have rather had the shower at my house, it just wasn’t possible for this big of a shower. You see, my house is not that large in size, so it can only be equipped for smaller get-togethers. Nevertheless, we set up and lots of people attended and brought some amazing gifts with them!
To Ashley, sorry it has taken me so long! I hope you enjoyed your shower as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Thanks to everyone who helped that day!
