Notes from the Bride to Be

Planning for a wedding and becoming prepared for everything to come has been quite the experience. I have made myself a wedding binder. This is typically where I would insert a picture of it, but it's outside in my car, and I would have to go through the cold rain to get it. Not happening.

Just take my word for it. It's a 2 or 3 inch binder, and it is completely full. What I've found to be somewhat stressful, but really fun in the end was getting the opportunity to register for items that I would like to fill our new home.

I've nearly picked out everything. I'm down to the smaller items that need to be picked soon, but weren't decisions that needed to be made immediately. I'll share some choices with you that I've made just to entertain you I suppose, not that you really care. I'm sitting here at work. I'm bored. So, here it goes...

Fine China Choice: Opal Innocence

I also found this really wonderful Christmas accent plate that coordinates with it. It must be new because the only place I've been able to find it was at Belk, and they're not even selling it right now.

Everyday China: Butler's Pantry Gourmet

I've also chosen the coordinating stemware that goes with this pattern. I've had such a hard time finding a picture of it that I'm not about to search for a picture of it to post on here.

Most everything that I have chosen has been from the Lenox company. When I was browsing their website, I discovered that if you registered your patterns with them, they will replace your china if it scratches or chips (don't hold me to those exact terms, but it is along those lines). Can't beat that though!

On another note...I've been really interested in getting some bedding, but I'm only drawn to one company's bedding choices. I'm thinking that I might just have to buy this on my own, but I would LOVE to have this on our bed.

P.S. It's from Pottery Barn (thus my love for it)

When I say that I would like to have this bedding, I mean I would like every piece of it. Colby and I are planning to purchase a headboard that is covered with fabric like this, but it's not in that particular shape.

Don't you just love it? I do. I think it would brighten up the room. Which reminds me, we DESPERATELY need blinds. I need to get going on that.
