Missing Person: Mia Chay Brown

UPDATE:

Thank you for all of the prayers that have been sent up for this family and for Mia. Unfortunately, Mia’s remains have been found. The family will need you to continue your prayers during this difficult time, especially since it is so close to Christmas.

Please pray that they receive the answers to their questions and know why such a horrible act has been committed. Thanks to everyone who helped spread the word.

My cousins’ half-sister is missing and was last seen Thursday night.

Her name is Mia Chay Brown.

Mia

She is 24 years old, has blonde hair, is 5’5” with blue-green eyes.

Here is an article with more details about the case

Please take time to read this article. You never know if you might be the one to see something.

Everyone wants her to be returned safely and SOON! I cannot imagine what this family is going through, and it is most certainly a terrible time for something like this to take place.

Please keep this family in your prayers and more importantly pray for Mia to be found and returned home safely.

  1. I hope everyone in the surrounding area is praying for Mia's safe return to her family. One small way to help is to post to social pages such as twitter and facebook. May God bless Mia and her family as they wait for her return.

  2. I'm married to Josh Stewart (Kathy Kriser Stewart's son). Kathy & Wade are cousins. I have posted this on my Facebook as well as sent it out in county email here in Jackson County where I teach. I have asked all of my teacher friends to forward it to everyone in their address book as well. Hoping to get this out to several hundred people! Praying she will come home safe & sound.

  6. me too - Brenna - me too. I hope they find her safe and sound somewhere. I've tried hard last night and today to get our local media to carry this but for some strange reason (I think they have no heart) they aren't carrying one word about it. (I live in Tallahassee). I'm praying like crazy for this young lady.

Geneva County, Ala. authorities appear to have found the car of Mia Chay Brown, a Bonifay woman reported missing late last week, according to Holmes County Sheriff Tim Brown.

The badly burned vehicle is "a pretty good distance" off Coleman Road south of State 52 between Hartford and Geneva, Ala., Brown said. An Alabama Game & Fish officer found the vehicle at about 9 a.m., Brown said, and alerted the Geneva County, Alabama, Sheriff's Office.

"The vehicle is believed to be the missing car," Brown said.

Brown said a crime scene team from Alabama Bureau of Investigation is on the way to process the scene."
